Some educational institutions say "no"

Now the community project is on the stage of the "educational institution cooperation stage." Until now, I receive only the response from Jinnan Kindergarten and my neighborhood only.

This is my mistake of not considering the safety and the inconvenience of primary school and middle school. The two schools are one crossroad away, which requires the teacher to bring young kids outside of a safe campus. This becomes a safety concern when young children are required to cross the road when cars pass by with such a long line of children. "If any of them run away from the long line and I am at the very front, I will not be able to guarantee all the naughty children. It will be many responsibilities if we miss any student," my past home teacher in the primary school responded to me like that.

By the same token, I was refused by the middle school. The middle school did not participate in the same activity also because of their pre-decided school calendars. There is no time for them to prepare for this extra event.

Kindergarten kids participate because it is right at the gate of our neighborhood and requires only a few meters of walk without crossing the road.

This becomes an issue of changing some board questions I am going to use in the neighborhood. This is because I need to decrease the questions' overall difficulties for those kids to understand the question and push forward their explorations.

Besides the educational institution, community committees have accepted my plan and started putting on advertisements for these scavenger hunt events. To get in touch and build up intimacy with the kids in the kindergarten, I was invited to a visit to this kindergarten. With a few games I prepared, I only concluded one thing:

"This is so bad for the throat to shout at those noisy kids to come back; I need to have a throat tablet after a day of interaction."
